Ed sheeran https://www.edsheeran.com/?frontpage=true
The design of ed sheeran's website is in the same colour as the album
cover for his latest album this could be to create an interconnection
between his album and his website.
edsheeran ‘s name is clearly visible at the top of the page in his signature
font. This could be to easily identify its his website and the font use is
consistent throughout the website and this could be to reinforce his brand.
The website has a menu bar where user can navigate
between, news, tour, music, store etc… Each section has info and is easily accessible.
Taylor swift https://www.taylorswift.com/
Her website is also used the album cover art as its design
but has a simple design overall with only 3 different pages; video,
merchandise and news. Users are able to buy her merchandise straight
from the website. There are links to her social media in the top right corner
this allows for a channel for communication between her and her audience.
The mood of the website is very summery and I imagine its in theme with her latest album.
Post malone http://www.postmalone.com/
Post malone's design is different as soon as you open the site the video
to his latest song instantly plays and his name is not clearly visible.
There is a menu bar but no at the top and symbols are used instead of
words for each section. The design is dark themed and black.
His home page has his tour dates this indicates one of the main purposes
of his site is to buy tickets. There is an option to subscribe to a newsletter
which gets delivered to your house which i think is unique.
